It is true, that you can have all the talent in the world , but
without hard work to sharpen the skills , the talent is useless. There are countless first round draft picks who
flaked out without ever making it out in the field . With the sterling deeds and relentless hard work of Lal
Bahadur Shastri as motivation , Shastri House successfully finished the year, securing 3rd position .
Reiterating our motto "Sky is the limit ", the 'Reds' contributed their best to bring the house to where it is
The house led by the captain Shivangi Sharma and vicecaptain, Amiya Tyagi , intimidated the opponents in many
fields . The Reds garnered much prestige in all fields , and whether it was sports , cultural activities or the bulletin boards, we built an eclectic collection oflaurels. The tale begins with the mention of 63rd Annual athletic meet where our Vice Captain Amiya 'fyagi clinched a silver and 2 golds in 400m, long jump and triple jump respectively, setting a new record in the latter. The Junior House Captain Saumil Goyal pocketed a silver and 4 bronze medals in the Junior Category.
But all this would have not have been possible without God's grace and the unflinching support of our House
Master Mr. Girish Kumar and House Mistress Mrs . Manisha Rana. At the end I would like to conclude the report by quoting one of the sayings of a great man "Failure is nothing but a chance to show the world that I have been better than the past, and can and will be the best in future."
