A magnificent sports extravaganza was organized at St Mary's Academy, Meerut Cantt on November 5, 2022 , in which all the students from L.K.G. to class XII participated with great fervor and manifested their athletic skills with an unimpeachable finesse.
The 65th annual athletic meet commenced with the grand welcome of our chief guest Major general Anupam Bhagi , YSM , SM , GOC Paschim, UP Sub area , Meerut Cantt.
He was accompanied by his wife Mrs Anju Bhagi who later gave away the trophies to the winning athletes and boosted their motivation and optimism. The school witnessed a massive footfall of audience including parents, teachers , patrician brothers and sisters , Ex-Ma members and various other dignitaries.
The day’s events were set to motion after the annual report being presented by our Principal Rev Bro Edward Sabastian. There was an active participation of the four houses in various events like racing, cycling, zumba drills, dancing etc. The day's highlight was the school's first ever brass band which participated in the event and surprised the audience with their skillful performance. The spectators were bedazzled by the unbeaten coordination of the students at the school inter -house March past.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks given by our vice principal Bro.Edison who thanked each and everyone who worked day and night tirelessly in order to conduct a successful Athletic Meet.The event ended with singing of the National Anthem by the audience and beating of the retreat by the school band.
