"Don't wait for an opportunity, create it."
SKY IS THE LIMIT!
Shastri House has always been synonymous with glory and trophy, an epitome of sporting and cultural excellence at St. Mary's Academy. Over the years, the countless victories, trophies and medals have stood testament to the fact that Shastrians are here to prove themselves and succeed, no matter what. As our motto goes. "Sky is the limit, Rise, Fly, Achieve." Under the able guidance of our House Mistress, Mrs. Meenakshi Walia
and House Master, Mr. Himanshu Grover, our House was able to attain new glories and heights. Their leadership and guidance helped us in facing every challenge with full vigour.
Our House Captain, Namya Jain and Vice Captain Vinayak Arya had put in the best efforts to lead the house to success.
Although this year we didn't spectate Annual Athletic Meet, that didn't lower the spirits of our Shastrians, rather it gave them an opportunity
to prove themselves in other realms possible.
The success story of 'THE REDS' commenced with our House Captain,
Namya Jain, a professionally trained Kathak Dancer, who won laurels at Zonals Declamation Competition. She being an excellent leader, guided as well as motivated the students in various Inter-House Competitions.
Our Vice Captain, Vinayak Arya, an extraordinary sports person, left no stone unturned and brought glory to the school by being selected for the camp of Indian Basketball Team and he also played National Basketball Tournament. He brought honour to the House by emerging victorious in Inter-House Basketball matches.
Our Sports Captain, Shripriya Maheshwari bagged the Zonals Athletic Championship Trophy U-19 Girls Category. Our Cultural Prefect, Arpita Arora guided the Shastrians in bulletin boards with seamless coordination of our middle wing Student Council, Naisha Mishra, Anubhuti Goel and Prakhar Tomar.
As the academic year of 2023-24 comes to an end, we are sure that this year's success will prove to be a prologue for years to come. The flag of Shastri House will always wave high in the grounds of St. Mary's Academy, reaching for the sky and achieving great heights.
